Privacy and Security
We prioritize your security and privacy. We employ strict measures to prevent data loss, unauthorized access, and use. Access to your information is limited to authorized personnel under a duty of confidentiality.
Our systems undergo regular testing and in the process of securing ISO 27001 certification, following industry-leading standards. We use encryption technology and adhere to the Center for Internet Security's Critical Security Controls. Special regulations and procedures are in place, backed by security training for our employees.
1
Where is my data stored?
Our platform operates as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), which entails that our application and any data you upload are hosted in a cloud-based environment. We rely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for our hosting needs. The physical servers that support our service are situated in Oregon, USA.
2
Will you use my data for training?
Our operations do not involve the training or fine-tuning of large language models (LLMs). Additionally, it's important to note that OpenAI has made it clear that customer data sent through its API endpoints is not utilized for the purpose of training or enhancing its models. https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies
3
Do you send my data to third-parties?
Our platform incorporates the advanced language models GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 from OpenAI. When you upload text, segments of it may be used as part of the context for generating responses. However, we ensure that your complete documents are never shared in their entirety with any external entities, including OpenAI or its affiliates.
To clarify how this works, imagine a scenario where we have different sets of legos (pieces of your documents). We only send a combination of these pieces, not the entire set, to OpenAI for processing. Think of it like constructing a unique lego structure (your full document). In our process, we mix pieces from various sources, and these are sent with many other pieces from numerous users to OpenAI. This mixing makes it virtually impossible (and unnecessary) for OpenAI to try piecing together these fragments to discover the full content of your original documents. Furthermore, OpenAI has confirmed that it does not use the data received through its API for the purposes of training or refining its models. For more details, you can visit OpenAI's data usage policy at their official website.

Is my data end-to-end encrypted?
When your data is stored on our servers, it is not subject to end-to-end encryption. This lack of encryption is necessary because encrypting your data would prevent us from extracting and utilizing the information it contains, which is essential for the functionality of our features. This characteristic is common across text analytics platforms, including OpenAI. It's important to be aware that any service claiming to provide similar capabilities while also offering end-to-end encryption is not telling the truth
